Description: Halvorsen 26 Cruiser

Halvorsen 26 ft Bay Cruiser is a testament to the build quality and craftsmanship. Built by Halvorsen at Nottingham Boat Shed here in Sydney and launched around 1960. She was constructed out of Diagonal Mahogany marine plywood over timber frames.
Since then, with new technology her hull has been Fibreglass sheathed, and a PSS seal added giving her a completely dry and clean bilge.
In 2019 she was dry-docked and underwent an 8- month complete refitted. There was over 1200 man's hour put into her. In that time every conceivable item was replaced, repaired or fixed. Some of the major items were new wiring and Plumbing, stern tube and cutlass bearings, complete engine rebuild, external repaint, new bathroom, anchor winch, fridge compressor, batteries, engine control cables, all pumps and the list goes on. As you can see from her immaculate presentation, there was no money or time spared in the refit project.
In the last seven years she has been maintained and operated by a super yacht Captain / Engineer.
This has now made Jewels a turn key boat, with many years to come of trouble free boating.
