How to see Northwell lab results? ›

To receive a free copy of your recent lab test results, simply download the Authorization for Release of Health Information form and send the completed form to the Laboratory Services Center. Lab results can be received by phone, email, mail, fax, or in person four days after your lab work has been completed.

The FollowMyHealth® (FMH) patient portal makes it convenient to manage your personal health information anywhere, anytime. Use this guide to navigate the website or mobile app version of FollowMyHealth. The Action Center highlights all recent updates to your medical record.

FollowMyHealth and Northwell Health are two separate applications, each with its own unique features to help you manage your medical care. You can access both via web or your smart device.

While in the Northwell Health app, tap the "Me" icon in the bottom navigation menu to enter your profile. Once in your profile, you will see a button to connect to FollowMyHealth.

Still, many patients may not schedule needed blood work despite having a prescription*. That's why Northwell Health Labs, the largest hospital-based lab in the region, developed a solution—LabFly, an innovative mobile app that helps patients easily and safely schedule a blood draw.

The Northwell Health app is a free mobile app that allows you to easily manage your care from your phone. You can link to your existing Northwell records and manage them all in one place.

Blood test results

The results are sent back to the hospital or to your GP practice. Some test results will be ready the same day or a few days later, although others may not be available for a few weeks. You'll be told when your results will be ready and how you'll be given them.

You can view the results in the MyQuest app or log in to questhealth.com and view the Quest Results page. You can also check the status of your results on the same web page.
