Hugo Bueno joins Feyenoord
Wolves left-back Hugo Bueno has joined Dutch giants Feyenoord on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old made 26 appearances for Wolves last season but injuries, and the fine form of Rayan Ait-Nouri, meant the Spaniard's campaign was a disrupted one.
Wolves hope farming him out to Feyenoord will increase Bueno's first team experience and also present him with the chance to sample Champions League football.
In the meantime, manager Gary O'Neil is waiting on Nantes to give him the go-ahead to sign their 18-year-old centre-back Bastien Meupiyou.
Wolves' initial offer of £3.4million was turned down by the Ligue 1 side.
But they quickly returned to the table with an increased offer of £4.26million and are currently waiting for a response from Nantes.
Meupiyou is regarded as one of the brightest young defensive prospects in France and played in the French Under-17 side which came runners'-up in the Under-17 European Championships and World Cup.

Nottingham Forest appointment
Nottingham Forest have appointed former Slovenia international Miran Pavlin as their International Sporting Advisor.

Pavlin won multiple Slovenian championships during his time as Maribor's Sporting Director as the club qualified for Europe on five occasions, including two seasons in the Champions League.
That attracted the Slovenian FA to appoint him as their Sporting Director and resulted in the Slovenians qualifying for Euro 2024.

Marc Guehi alternative
Newcastle are looking at alternative transfer options in case they miss out on top target Marc Guehi.
The Magpies have lodged a third bid for the England defender, 24, after having two rejected last week.
The Toon’s latest offer is worth £55m with a potential further £5m in performance-related add-ons.
And they remain confident that they can get a deal done as negotiations continued on Tuesday.
However, they are not prepared to wait around and want a quick decision from their Premier League rivals on what could potentially be their final bid.
Plans are already in place for other targets should the Selhurst Park club continue to play hardball as manager Eddie Howe is desperate to bring in a new centre-back to bolster his defence.
And with the season getting underway on Saturday, Newcastle are not prepared to miss out on potential other alternatives by waiting too long for Guehi.

More on Gallagher
Conor Gallagher's latest setback is proving to be a nightmare for Chelsea as the player is now entering the final year of his contract and they risk losing one of their key players for nothing on a free transfer at the end of this season.
Gallagher, 24, has the advantage of being able to walk away for nothing next summer if a deal to find another club for him cannot be sorted.
Chelsea have been trying to offload Gallagher for a number of transfer windows now after failing to agree a new contract with the player.
Tottenham, Everton, Newcastle and West Ham have all been linked with him in the past.
He flew to Madrid last Friday expecting to rubber stamp a move to Spain’s La Liga but complications set in when Chelsea could not close a deal for striker Omorodion.
They were keen to sign Felix, who spent half a season on loan with them from January 2022.
